Parent Learning: Emotional Support for Kids

  • Be Well Clinic 5803 McWhinney Boulevard Loveland, CO, 80538 United States (map)

We as a culture have been making amazing advances in understanding and accepting emotions. But how can you transfer that to your children's emotional health?

Amy has been studying emotional health and support since she was first introduced to the idea years ago, and recently parents have been asking her how to support their children in similar ways. Emotional support for children looks different, depending on their age and emotional developmental stage, but as Amy has pondered and studied this question, there are a few major "caring strategies" she has come across that you can implement in your family to better emotionally support your children. This is class is all about sharing them with you!

We hope you can join us to learn some simple strategies you can implement in your home right away! Both parents are encouraged to attend, but this is not necessary. Childcare is available on-site to help make this accessible to families.

Suggested donation: $10
Childcare: $5/child, $15 max per family (must RSVP beforehand)

Our class philosophy: In order to take away as many barriers to attendance as possible, and allow valuable information to be heard by everyone who needs it, we offer our events free of charge. There is a suggested donation for each class, but there is no requirement to pay for any class you attend. We trust that as you find the information we share valuable, and as you have the means to give, you will financially support our ability to continue offering classes.
