Types of Appointments

Part of our mission at Be Well Clinic is to provide individual education and while providing health care. During any appointment, our practitioners will teach you what your body is saying about nutritional deficiencies, toxicity symptoms and more. We offer several different types of appointments, depending on what’s required for each individual situation. The appointments available at each location are listed on each location website. So, if you want to make an appointment, please find your nearest location and browse available appointment types.

All our GAPS support is virtual and can be accessed no matter where you are. If you have questions about what appointment type to make, please schedule a free 15 minute inquiry call to help you choose.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • We are a cash clinic, meaning we do not accept insurance, but we do accept other forms of payment. (Cash, check, HSA, credit card, payment plans etc.) When receiving services from our clinic, you are responsible for payment for those services. Payments for appointments are paid at the time of service, email or phone support are generally paid immediately, subscriptions to monthly packages are billed monthly. Some insurance companies allow you to submit a superbill for out-of-network services. We suggest contacting your insurance provider to ensure they take superbills. (Please note that there is a $5.00 fee per superbill)

  • We try to keep updated prices posted online by appointment type. Although the fee schedule subject to change without notice.

    Payment methods include cash, check (payable to Be Well Clinic), or credit card/HSA cards. Cash and check are preferred!

    Payment is due at time of service, and additional time will be charged per minute for time used in addition to the stated appointment time length.

    An additional $10 fee will be collected at the time of your first initial visit to cover administrative time.

    Some paperwork may require administrative costs, contact the office if you have questions regarding specific paperwork.

  • Establishing care means that we are making sure we know you as an individual client. We need to know our patients well enough to provide quality and safe health for each patient. With simple health history, and a 45- minute appointment is sufficient for most children and adults. If more diagnoses are present, then a 2-hour appointment must be made. Staying established with us means that you see us for physicals according to the following guidelines; newborns, within 2 months, at 4 months, at 9 months and at 1 year old. Children aged 1-12 years, annually. 12 years to adult, every other year. When you are established as a patient, we can provide documentation as needed, lab work, tests and diagnostics as needed, and complete school physical forms as needed.

  • Both of our practitioners are very knowledgeable and skilled in what they do, and all of our practitioners work as a team. If you need primary care, start by scheduling with Amy. If you need follow up or nutritional support, start by scheduling with Hollie.

  • We are happy to work with you to heal through nutrition and supplements, but if you require medications you will need to continue working with your prescribing provider.

  • Because we do not prescribe medications, we are experts at utilizing nutrition, herbs and essential oils and other protocols to help the body recover and heal. There are times antibiotics when are needed, and in the rare case an antibiotic is needed, we can provide a referral or recommendation.

  • Yes, we can order any tests necessary (blood, stool, imaging, etc.). We would want to see you prior to ordering to ensure we are only ordering tests that are appropriate and needed for you. We will then schedule another appointment to discuss your test results. Lab tests can be ordered for you at our clinic no matter what provider you are seeing.

  • We are happy to see everyone in your family. However, we want to provide individualized care for each person, so you will need to make an appointment for each person. We can often schedule back-to-back appointments for your family. We advise splitting up your appointments into two separate days especially if you have children. We often notice that more than 2 back-to-back appointments can be a lot for children.

  • You must have established care with Be Well Clinic for us to provide any personalized medical advice. For this reason, we recommend you get established as soon as possible, so we can help you the next time you need sick care.

    If your child has been seen within the last year, please contact us anytime your child is sick or you need help with an illness.

    If it has been a while since we have seen you please give us a call, we may need you to schedule a well physical depending upon how long it has been since your last well appointment.

  • Yes, we now have a sick line that you can call when you need help with an illness. Please check your profile in Practice Better for our sick line phone number and hours.

  • For more information on vaccines or exemptions for children and adults, please visit this page. If you think you’ve had an exposure, we would love to provide additional information. Please give us a call and we will connect you with one of our practitioners.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY / RESCHEDULING FEE

    We require 24 hours notice to cancel appointments.

    Please be aware that patients who do not provide at least 24 hours notice when cancelling appointments will be charged 50% of the appointment fee.

    If you miss your appointment and do not inform us, you will be charged the full price of the appointment. Patients who fail to show up for their appointment without calling to cancel are subject to the requirement of all future appointments being prepaid.

  • All information provided to Be Well Clinic, LLC in any form, including verbal, email or written, that falls beneath the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines, will be kept confidential without express and written permission by the patient to whom that information belongs.

  • Paperwork such as sports physical forms, general health forms for daycares and schools, and forms for summer camps and similar activities that can easily be filled out during your appointment do not carry a charge if you bring them with you. If these forms are sent to us outside of the appointment time, they carry a $25 administrative fee.

    Due to legal implications of certain forms, we charge a $50 charge anytime these forms are completed for you, even during appointment times. These forms can be bundled for each patient, and if you require or request any of them, you will be charged at most a $50 charge per person for each year that you need these forms completed. Please call the office to see what forms apply.

    You are responsible for your appointment cost regardless of whether or not the requested paperwork can be completed by our practitioners, so if you have any questions about forms, including our practitioners' legal ability to complete certain forms, please contact the office before your appointment.

  • Yes, we have a sick line for our established patients. An established patient is a child aged 1-12 years, that we see annually or someone 12 years to adult, that we see every other year. The sick line follows our regular business hours and is billed Sick line calls will be billed as follows:

    0-15 minutes: $40

    16-20 minutes: $60

    21-30 minutes: $80
