What is the GAPS Diet?

The GAPS Diet is a nutritional healing protocol to heal and seal a leaky gut. GAPS stands for Gut And Psychology Syndrome and was developed by Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride. It’s now successfully used around the world by thousands of people.

The GAPS Diet is unique because of its emphasis on foods that support the body’s immune system to heal and repair damage done by inflammation and toxins. These main healing foods are fermented foods, meat stock, and animal fats. These foods are healing to the body even if taken occasionally, but following the GAPS Protocol is the most efficient way to rid yourself of a leaky gut.

At first glance, the GAPS Diet can be overwhelming to many people. We have years of experience helping patients in all walks of life step into the GAPS Diet at a pace that works for them, their families and their lifestyles to ensure success.
