Sleep. An important thing to do for your health. We are not taught much about how to get good sleep.
For example:
Do you know what hours of the night are best for sleeping if you want to support your immune system?
Does it matter how much sleep you get?
Does it matter when you get that sleep?
And is it a cumulative thing, or do your hours of sleep need to be all in a row?
Sleep happens when our body is able to rest. Did you know that science has not found a way to make anyone sleep? Medications like sleeping pills only sedate you, they do not only put your body to sleep... nothing but your own body can do this. Your body will only sleep well when there is a sufficient low level of toxins, your body is well fed, and when you feel it is safe to sleep deeply (out of fight or flight). Hormones and glands also play a huge part in sleeping.
You can help your body sleep! We will talk about the things necessary for a good sleep cycle, and you will leave better knowing how to get your best night's sleep!
