You've probably heard that gut microbes are important. But how do we have good microbes? Probiotics are costly, and buying fermented foods add up as well, but there is a way to make fermented foods for a fraction of the cost! Want to know how? Come to our fermentation class!
In this class we will:
-Learn the basic science and techniques of fermentation
-Watch & participate in several fermentation demonstrations
-Discuss common fermenting problems & overcoming them
-Leave with several fermentation recipes you can do at home
-Answer all your fermentation questions
-Brainstorm ways to get ferments into your picky eater
Whether you have been fermenting for a while and want to expand your knowledge, or are brand new to fermenting, we invite you to come! And please share this with your friends!
Because all the world needs a little more ferments in their lives!
Suggested donation: $15 to help cover supplies
Our class philosophy: In order to take away as many barriers to attendance as possible, and allow valuable information to be heard by everyone who needs it, we offer our events free of charge. There is a suggested donation for each class, but there is no requirement to pay for any class you attend. We trust that as you find the information we share valuable, and as you have the means to give, you will financially support our ability to continue offering classes.
