Nutrition for Stress Recovery

We have all been under extra stress for the last several months. Whether you have felt stressed, or if you have felt fairly even-keeled, I can almost guarantee that your body has experienced stress.

Why? Because stress is not just an emotional experience, but is a word used to describe things that make the body work harder to maintain homeostasis. Stress includes things like extreme temperatures, emotional stress, illness, challenging, new, or changing situations where you have to be flexible and create a new plan or pattern, not getting enough sleep, or a sudden increase in exercise.

Anything in that list sound familiar? Then this class is for you! We will discuss what happens when you get stressed, and how to replenish and support your body before, during, and after stressful time periods. This is especially important when the stress lasts a long time! I hope you join us!
